PR3 2QL

This is a ride of 2 halves. We will head out of the village on the road to Gibbon Bridge with a beautiful vista of Longridge Fell ahead. We will turn onto a quiet lane to bring us back through Leagram to Chipping. Here we will begin a short, steady climb up a quiet back lane lane, past the old Chipping Chair works and mill pond. At the top, you will be rewarded with a view of Parlick before looping back to Chipping on a newly surfaced, wide and fun descent.

Route rating

0 stars (0) Reviews

A gentle figure-of-eight ride from the picturesque village of Chipping.

Quiet tarmac lanes, some narrow.

This will be a continuous ride but there is a cafe near to the start/finish point.

Under 16s must wear a well fitting helmet. Please bring a waterproof, drink and snack - the weather can be changeable in the area. It is helpful if you bring a spare inner tube in case of punctures. If you wish to enjoy the cafe after the ride, don’t forget your wallet. The car park is Pay and Display - prices to cover the duration from £1.70.

We never leave anyone behind
