Clydebank to Bowling Basin along the Canal

A leisurely cycle from the Clyde Shopping centre along the Forth & Clyde canal to the Bowling basin (then returning). This route which is mostly along the canal towpath (there is 1 road crossing in Dalmuir)

taking it easy, we will cycle down to the Bowling basin where the canal reaches the river Clyde, were we will take a short break before heading back. Down at the basin there is a cycle shop and some other shops, along with some great views up and down the Clyde.

As this cycle is "mostly" flat, this is suitable for all cyclists who wish a nice easy picturesque cycle (well it is nice going down the towpath)

remember it might be raining, so please consider appropriate clothing for cycling whether it be raining or dry and or coldish (the bikes might get a bit dirty if there are puddles)
