Coastguard Cafe, Winchelsea Beach, Winchelsea, Pett Level 13.5

We leave the car park at The Coastguard Café and cycle along Warren Road and then join Battery Hill until we turn left onto Rosemary Lane. This takes us onto Pett Road for a short while and we then turn left onto Pannell Lane which goes into Pett Lane and Wickham Rock Lane. Monks Walk will take us into Winchelsea town. For a change we will cycle down Strand Hill and onto the Strand. A right turn will take us onto Sea Road and into Winchelsea Beach and out onto Pett Level Road and back up to Battery Hill. We'll then head back to the Coastguard Café for some refreshments. Although this is short route and has about 5 miles which are really flat, there is a 2 mile downhill section, some undulations and one more challenging hill which we can take our time to tackle.
