The route follows the beautiful trans Pennine trail to York along disused railway paths and canal tow paths. There are some lovey quiet country lanes and a few very short sections on roads.

Tow paths, railway paths, quiet lanes, roads

We will have a stop at a cafe in Pollington on the way there and lunch at cycle heaven in York.

Please wear comfortable clothing for a full day in the saddle. Apply sun cream. Bring spare inner tubes and pump, tools to fix a puncture. It’s a long day and plenty of snacks need to betaken in as well as plenty of water. Most importantly, bring that smile
