Come try...Stannington Mini Circular

Our route will start in the car park at Stannington Park. Our route today will be shorter than our usual monthly Stannington Circular ride and taster of what to expect from the more regular route. The shorter loop of around 6 miles has two options once we arrive at Load Brook. Turn left and have a final climb up passed Hill Top or turn right and arrive already at the top of the hill out of Dungworth. All routes do have some climbs and descents which in places are challenging, but do-able. We take our time and walk if needed. We also regrouping at top of climbs and bottom of descents, and before junctions. Whilst all the routes are accessible for all bike types, you may find some of them more challenging if on a mountain bike. All rides go to the pace of the slowest rider in the group and no one is ever left behind.

Please bring a road worthy bike, a helmet whilst not compulsory is recommended, bike spares eg. Inner tubes/puncture repair kit and multi tool. Please carry a bike lock, drinks and money for the cafe. Please wear clothes suited to the time of year and riding comfort.

The car park is situated off Uppergate Road, and the cafe is in Stannington Park. The post code given is for the cafe. Please check local signage when parking if you plan on bring your car to the start point.
