Cycling is the easiest way to reach Alexander Stadium where the opening ceremony of the 2022 Commonwealth Games will take place. Cycle parking will be available in close proximity to the venue. Bike hire is available in various locations with docking stations at major bus, metro and train stations.
We will ride from St Philips Cathedral (known locally as Pigeon Park) over to Alexander Stadium where the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games will take place at 8pm.
This ride is free for anyone to join. Helmets are optional for adults but they are compulsory for under 18's.
