Starting point

West Midlands

Come and join us for Cycle to Work Day on a stress free easy cycling route from Park Hayes Park into the Birmingham City Centre (dropping off at the centre of Aston University Campus by the Martin Luther King Multi-Faith Centre), B4 7ET. The ride will be on a mixture of shared pathways, local quiet roads and mainly along the canal tow paths until you reach the City. We will ride at a comfortable speed and will not leave anyone behind. It is a fairly easy flat route along the route we have chosen.

New riders are very welcome and would be lovely if you are able to join the Bike Breakfast (coffee & pastries) being organised by Cycle Works Birmingham at Holiday Inn Birmingham City Centre at 7.30am to 8.45 am. For those interested, we will be riding there from Aston University Campus to the hotel via Colmore Row.

There will be a return journey meeting at 5.15 pm at MLK Multi-Faith Centre, Aston University Campus B4 7ET onwards to Pype Hayes Park (same route as above).

New riders are very welcome. Helmets are recommended and bring a spare inner tube (if you have one) / pump and a drink in case it is warm. My contact number is 07568334464 Sue
