Cookridge and beyond

If you’re fairly confident on your bike and ready to broaden your cycling horizons, this challenging ride is for you. At a comfortable pace, and possibly with some modest hills along the way, this ride take place on mainly quiet roads with plenty of sights along the way. The ride is about 36km long, at a moderate pace of between 7 and 10 miles an hour. Come and join us for this ride starting from outside Adel Church (parking opposite church if traveling by car) The route: runs past some interesting sights such as the “Home farm” as shown in Emmerdale Farm TV series we pass the grounds of Harewood Estates and onto the chevin which reaches 282 metres at the highest point and where you can see some spectacular views across to Sutton bank and Ingleborough on a clear day before returning through Guisley & Horsforth All people under 18 must wear a helmet. PLEASE NOTE - This ride is not run directly by SkyRide, it is a social group ride. I am Sky Leaders, but this is a "Buddy Bike Ride"
