Because of the time of year, please being along plenty of layers to keep warm. Gloves are also highly advisable. If the weather is icy then the ride will be cancelled as the cycle paths are not all gritted. A message will be sent out the evening before the ride if it is going to be cancelled so please do keep an eye on your email.

This is a lovely ride which will take us all the way to Leith with barely any roads!

The vast majority of this route is on traffic-free shared paths. There are also a few quiet roads at the start and finish.

We will stop at a cafe in Leith for coffee before heading back the same way we went out.

Bring along money for the cafe stop.
