Due to the time of year, the weather is very likely to be chilly. Please bring along plenty of layers. You might want to bring a jacket to wear at the cafe stop while you are not keeping warm cycling. Gloves are highly advisable.

Route rating

0 stars (0) Reviews

This is a route along quiet roads and traffic-free paths to the Botanic Gardens.

Much of the route is along shared paths and the roads we are using are quiet. There is a fairly long downhill section just before we arrive at the Botanics. We will be climbing back up this hill after our coffee stop, but there will be no rush and you can take the hill at your own speed. We will regroup at the top for a quick rest before heading back to Corstorphine.

Once we arrive at the botanics we will lock the bikes and walk to the Terrace Cafe within the gardens.

Please bring along some money for the cafe stop and also a lock for your bike.

We never leave anyone behind
