Led by experienced ride leaders, these rides are a great way to explore new places and to meet new people who enjoy cycling. They are suitable for all levels of experience, so whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist, you can find a ride that is right for you.

Are you someone looking to enjoy cycling as a means of regular exercise whilst discovering some of the great cycling routes around Swindon? Are you a lapsed club cyclist looking to rediscover the joys of cycling? Then come and join the Swindon Lets Ride group and take on the ‘Couch to 100km in 10 weeks Challenge’. Led by our own team of experienced British Cycling Ride Leaders, starting on Sunday 30th March, we will gradually increase our cycling distances over the weeks discovering some fantastic routes and cafes, aiming to complete the challenge on Sunday 1st June.

The challenge is open to all cyclists (including e-bikes and recumbent cycles) and individuals are welcome to join us for some or all of the rides. On completion of the challenge, riders will be at a level to progress onto one of the many great cycling clubs / groups we have in the Swindon area.
Most of all we want you to come along and really enjoy yourselves!The series is aimed at encouraging individuals to take up cycling or return to cycling as a regular means of exercise.

Week 1 -At Moredon Sports Hub, introduction morning where a local cycling mechanic will be in attendance to offer a free of charge bike check and any other advice. We will then have a track-based session delivered by a qualified cycling coach concentrating of group riding skills to prepare for riding on the open roads. We will also be covering items such as nutrition and hydration whist cycling.

The series is scheduled to run over an 10 week period (weather permitting) and held on mainly Saturday mornings, with all rides commencing and finishing at MSH
The rides vary week by week with the aim to build up endurance and strength to reach that 10 week goal .

All rides will be led by team of experienced British Cycling Ride Leaders and everyone is welcome to come along and take part in these events.

These events not only promote the sport of cycling but will provide many more benefits, below is just a sample.
