Starting point

If you're thinking of visiting this year's Cyclefest event why not ride in from Coundon with us? We'll start from outside the entrance to Bablake playing fields on Norman Place Road, and ride along the Coundon Cycleway into the event at Greyfriars Green by the train station. There will be a range of cycled themed activities on offer as well as the opportunity to ride a closed section of the ring road from 7.30pm!

This is a family friendly ride approx 2 miles long, with the majority being traffic-free. It is suitable for all types of bikes, but please note as this is a one-way trip into the event you will need to make your own arrangements for your homeward journey (don't forget your lights!). Details of this year's event can be found here:

There is the option to hire bikes from the West Midlands Cycle Hire docking stations near Christ The King Church (what3words///view.regard.lower) or by Coundon Library (what3words///equal.pint.amount). Bikes are subject to availability and charges apply. Further details here:

If you intend hiring a bike from either of these locations we can always arrange to meet you along the way or you can join us at the start point. Just let us know via the 'conversation' tab in the ride description.

We hope you can join us!
