About the route
Starting point
Greater Manchester OL15 0AQ
This road ride takes us on a circular route over the summit at Littlebourgh into West Yorkshire and through Todmorden, Hebden Bridge and Mytholmroyd before taking on the climb of Cragg Vale which proudly claims to be the longest continual ascent in England. 968 feet of climbing in 5.5 miles. It is not steep, just a classic long drag with an average gradient of just over 3%. An invigorating decent of Blackstone Edge features shortly before arriving back at our start point.
