Creswell Crags from Poolsbrook Country Park (FLAB Chesterfield Social ride)

Starting at Poolsbrook Country Park main carpark, we pick up the new Clowne Branch Line and follow it to Creswell where we take minor roads and bridleways to the cafe at the visitor centre at Creswell Crags.
This route has a some sections of rough ground making it unsuitable for bikes with narrow, smooth tyres. You will get around on a road bike but there are some rough sections which you will not enjoy as much (I won't mention the "P" word).
This is not an entirely flat ride, but the uphills are more mental than physical.
On the FLAB rides we ride to the pace of the slowest rider and never leave anyone behind.
Helmets must be worn.
Please bring a helmet, spare tube/ repair kit, money for the cafe, a lock, a working bike, and a sense of humour.
It's a varied ride with a decent cafe at the top, and well worth the effort.
