Starting point

London
CR0 1GY

Sunday 25th October we will ride to Wimbledon via Wimbledon Park, which is somehow an easier climb to Wimbledon Common. We enjoyed this route last October, led by Jess, and we'll lunch at the same cafe - Drop Shot.

We take the tramside path to Ampere Way and Mitcham Common and Colliers Wood. Then the Wandle Trail to Earlsfield, then Wimbledon Park and Common. With a ride through Wimbledon Village's mansion-lined side streets we arrive at the lunch stop. The way back takes us on the Wandle Trail south of Merton Abbey Mills. Route is a 23 mile loop.

It's suitable for road bikes but you will need 28mm tyres or wider for the two commons.

Meet at Queens Gardens CR0 1GY. Please bring a spare inner tube.
