CR0 1GY

Setting off from Queens Gardens we take the Railway Park and Ashburton Park and ascend to Crystal Palace Park in easy stages on side streets. We will ride through that beautiful park and whizz down College Road (take it at your safe speed - we will regroup at the bottom) and visit Dulwich Park then Peckham Rye Park where we turn around to complete the loop via Waterlink Way with rivers Ravensbourne and Pool. A short detour allows us to visit the beautiful and lesser-known Beckenham Place Park and we will do that on this ride.

We will lunch in Cafe G on Peckham Rye, which has seating inside and out. The route can be ridden on bikes with 28mm tires or wider.

There is about 2 1/2 hours riding time, so 3 1/2 to 4 hours in total. 10am starts have been more popular lately so that is when we will start.

The ride is not suitable for road bikes with tires less than 28mm in width.

As always, the ride is also posted in London Cycling Campaign's Events pages and our WhatsApp group https://chat.whatsapp.com/HFVOnWScHzi0Ss1w1leYrE for chat, photos and on the day info
