Starting point

London
CR0 1GY

A loop returning to the Croydon start point after adventuring out west. First we go to Morden Hall Park by the usual and best way, the Wandle Trail. Then it’s through Morden Park and the big Morden Cemetery and the nearby Mayflower Park with its ponds and wetland boardwalk/cycle path. Then on street and cycle path to the Tolworth Farm Fields nature reserve where we get woodland paths to the Hogsmill Trail. The lovely woodland riding beside the River Hogsmill takes us to Ewell. Our next park gives us more woodland path in Nonesuch Park, followed by Cheam Park. Then it is on to Carshalton Grove by side street and Croydon by the River Wandle.

This is a 26 mile ride. There is enough gravel to make 32mm the minimum tyre width and hybrid bikes are best for this route. The total climb over the distance is 625 feet.

We are starting at Queens Gardens CR0 1GY at 10am. Finishing there around 3:30 - 4pm. Please bring a spare inner tube. And please do bring lights. The daylight will be going while we are on our return.
