Starting point

London
CR0 1GY

A ride from Croydon to Ewell, Morden and Mitcham and back to Croydon. First we take side streets to Nonsuch Park and ride its woodland trail. This takes near Ewell for the Hogsmill Trail. After some of that we loop back to Nonsuch Park via the pretty Ewell Court Park. Then it’s lunch in Cheam Village. After lunch we ride downhill to Morden Park and Morden Hall Park and Ravensbury Park. Then Mitcham Common, where we find another woodland trail to ride. Then it’s back to Croydon on the cycleway and side streets to Wandle Park and finally Queens Gardens again.

It’s 25 miles. There are earth trails and gravel paths, some of it quite uneven. The minimum tyre width is 28mm and you would be more comfortable on wider tyres.

Meet at Queens Gardens CR0 1GY at 10am. Finishing around 3pm or 3:30 latest. Please bring a spare inner tube. A lock for the lunch cafe would be wise too, especially if we have to eat inside.

Expect more riders from the group’s WhatsApp community, whose joining link is in the group description above.
