Sunday the 2nd of August, we ride from Croydon through Tooting Bec, Clapham, Vauxhall, and the Embankment to Somerset House’s riverside terrace for lunch. There are many tables free to use and handy toilets. We will pass a Tesco on the Strand where we can buy food and drink, as well as Pret, Nero, and an indie cafe. The terrace is a few metres towards the river. Near us inside Somerset House is a small, free exhibition called Holy Pop! there will be time to see. We will take an hour or so over lunch, then take an 8-mile tour of central London through Bloomsbury, Fitzrovia, Regent's Park, Camden Town, King's Cross, and Clerkenwell to Blackfriars station for the train.

The whole ride is 21.5 miles. Meet at Queens Gardens CR0 1GY at 10am.

Bring a water bottle and a spare inner tube. And a sun hat or visor in case you don’t have shade at lunch.
