Ride leaders: Martin Doxsey and Ian Walkden Avg speed 10-12 mph. Elevation gain 1100ft. This is a social road ride over towards the Velo Café at Croston. A mix of both major and minor roads along with country lanes will be used on this ride, some undulating. There are a few slight inclines to tackle but they are short-lived. After the refreshment stop the route continues onwards and upwards before heading back to the starting point.

The ride is suitable for road bikes and hybrids.

We will be stopping at the Velo Café where we can grab something to eat and drink.

Although helmets are only recommended by law and not deemed to be essential, anyone not wearing a helmet will not be able to join the ride. Please be self-sufficient and bring spare inner tubes, bike levers, lock and pump. Don’t forget your pennies for the café stop. Also check your brakes and gears on your bike at least the night before. If you have not previously completed a ride participant form, please email [email protected] to request one.
