This is a hilly route and there are some steep sections. A few hilly country lanes between Pontprennau and Newport ; some urban roads too.
Starting by the school entrance we will ride up Ty-Draw Road then down through the new housing estate to the country lanes, through druidstone. We will head on country lanes into Bassaleg before looping with pass the Cefn Mably Arms. Then we head back to the start.

Hazards
Pot holes, some busy roads, some low grip surfaces.
