10am is READY TO RIDE time.
Come along earlier if arriving by car and faffage time is required.
Average speed 6 - 8mph

A ride on quiet country lanes and traffic free tracks. Some canal tow path and purpose built cycling infrastructure.

We leave Rivington via back lanes, to meet the canal at Limbrick. Along the canal as far as Wheelton. Onto lanes again towards Cuerdon Valley. Into Buckshaw using the cycle lanes. Then to Astley Park, Ambio Cafe fot our well deserved break. Then winding our way back to Rivington on the canal and lanes.

Not suitable for road bikes. E-bikes welcome, gravel bikes OK. But won't be a fast pace as I will be on a mountain bike.

Money for Cafe Ambio

Please ensure bikes in good working order. We aren't mechanics!
