Starting from - The start point is the Car Park at Lower Kem Mill. It is located at the end of Factory Lane which is off the A6 at Whittle-le-Woods. From memory there are cark park charges but there is also plenty of on road parking nearby. If you use a roof rack I think there is also a height restriction barrier. PR6 7YS

Starting at a car park Just off the A6 at Whittle-le-Woods we cycle through the Cuerden Valley Park and then use other cycle paths up to the river Ribble and the beautiful Avenham Park where we pick up the Preston Guild Wheel in a clockwise direction. If you have not ridden it before its an interesting circular route around Preston predominately on cycle paths. We can have café stop at Brockholes before completing the circuit back at Avenham park, from which we head South back to the start.
There are no toilets at the start, but we can have a stop at the public toilets in Avenham park after about 40 minutes. The route is mostly tarmac but there are some gravel sections. Please bring a helmet, spare inner tube and money for the café stop.
