Cutacre Capers

This ride will leave Robin Park and go through Westwood, Amberswood and Low Hall Park to reach Park Road in Hindley. We take to minor roads through to Westleigh and on past Howe Bridge Cemetery, Pennington Football Club, Atherton and Hag Fold before climbing through Cutacre Park to Pinewood Farm for our refreshment stop.

The return journey will see us pass back down Cutacre Park and through Shakerley, Gin Pit, Higher Folds, Pennington Flash,Crankwood, Red Ponds and back to Robin Park.

The route is subject to change depending on the weather conditions.

There are numerous barriers on this ride.

As usual photos will be taken on the ride and will be put on the Wigan and Leigh Cycling Group Facebook page - please notify the ride leaders if you do not want your photo taken.

A longer and more challenging ride than usual.

The ride is a mixture of canal towpath, quiet roads, short stretches of busy roads and tracks and trails.

There will be short stops en route and a longer stop for refreshments at Pinewood Farm.

Please bring drinks/snacks or money to buy them. Helmets should be worn on this ride.

New riders are welcome on our rides and we never leave anyone behind.
