Mike K. leading a repeat of his ride to Hall Place in Bexley. 18 mile return trip starting 10am next to the Tunnel entrance in Cutty Sark Gardens. Expect to be back there around 1.30pm. We will ride from the Cutty Sark up the hill in Greenwich Park, across Blackheath and on to Eltham Park. From Eltham Park to Falconwood which is classed by the UN as an urban forest. Across the 700 acres of Danson Park, past the Red House which was the home of the “Arts and Crafts movement “designer, William Morris. From there to Hall Place to have a coffee break. Start return to Cutty sark by the more direct cycle path following the busy A2 road, then retrace the outward route. Mostly we will be using either cycle paths or quiet side streets but one short stretch of busy road close to Hall Place. Hall Place is a hidden gem, see report of May 25 ride for photos. Route map
