Cycle to the Woods Guided Ride

Start point will be outside the visitor centre in Wyndham Park. Your leader will be wearing a green jersey. We will have some time to spend at Londonthorpe Woods, where you will be able to buy coffee and food, if required, and take advantage of the Dr Bike service that will be provided free of charge (except for any parts required). We will then return you to Wyndham Park. NG31 8FJ

Led by experienced ride leaders, these rides are a great way to explore new places and to meet new people who enjoy cycling. They are suitable for all levels of experience, so whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist, you can find a ride that is right for you.

This ride is for new or inexperienced cyclists who want the reassurance of being led by a qualified British Cycling Guided Ride Leader. This ride is free of charge to participate in but for insurance reasons you must register. The rides are limited to 8 participants so sign up as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

The route will be mostly off road and we will ride at the pace of the slowest rider. There will be some road crossings, which we shall make on foot, together with a short stretch of quiet road. But don’t worry as we will take good care of you.

Children aged 5-15 are very welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
