As a celebration of Leicester Cycle to Work Day, join our commuter ride before and after work from the Town Hall Square escorted by Ride Leicester Ride Leaders. The route follows cycle paths and quiet roads from Enderby Park & Ride to the city centre, with the aim being that cycling commuters will gain the confidence to go on to ride the journey on their own or meet someone they can ride with!

The ride will briefly stop at Gilmorton Avenue LE2 9GZ at 8.10 and Ramp Aylestone LE2 8LR (near the Black Horse) at 8.15 and commuters can join at these intermediate pick-up points before continuing onto the Town Hall Square to arrive by 8.40am.

Located in the Town Hall Square, commuters can park their bike at the Town Hall Bike Park, which is manned and secure. Sign up for bike hub membership before the 4th August for free annual membership of this and other Leicester bike hubs. There will be a stall and free fruit bike breakfast outside the Town Hall. If commuters want it, Ride Leaders can then lead on to a maximum of 3 city centre workplaces.

The return ride back to Enderby Park & Ride, via Ramp (Black Horse) and Gilmorton, will leave the Town Hall Square at 5.40pm.

Participants should be over 16 years old and be able to ride a bike. All participants should ensure their own bikes are in good working order. No one is ever left behind.
