Cycling Women Celebrate International Women's Day

We will ride into Coventry starting on the Greenway and it will mainly be quiet roads but we will need to crossover the A45 at the appropriate point using the pedestrian crossing.

We will stop briefly at the Park and Ride at Coventry War Memorial Park to meet up with another group and then make our way into Millenium Place to meet with the other women cyclists and to have a cup of tea/coffee. We hope to arrive about 1030 so that we can celebrate this day and our love of cycling.

A pleasant route into Coventry to celebrate International Women's day and our love of cycling. A great way to meet new people.

We will use the Greenway and cycle paths where available but there will be short section of main road.

We will stop at the War Memorial Park en route and then at Millenium Place and then return to Kenilworth

Please wear a helmet and bring a spare inner tube/puncture repair kit. Check weather conditions on the day and bring waterproof clothing if needed. We will be spending at least half an hour in Millenium Place so ensure you are comfortable. Bring a bike lock.

We are really hoping to encourage women cyclists of all experiences along to celebrate this day so please feel able to come along even if you have not been out for a while.
