Dark ride around the Great Orme
A winter bike ride with a difference, it is in the dark! There are some advantages of cycling in the dark,- you can’t see the hills ahead; everywhere looks so different; those who work in the daytime Mondays to Fridays can make it and you get to use those expensive lights you bought a while ago but don’t use much! It is also a lot of fun!

This short ride has a few hills but we will take it steady and you can ride at your own pace re- grouping as necessary. No one will be left behind! Starting at the far end of the promenade by the RNLI station in Llandudno we will ride in an anticlockwise direction around Marine Drive, Great Orme , most of which is very quiet at night and with one way traffic. We will then ride along roads and dual use cycle tracks through Llandudno and Craig Y Don returning along Bodafon Lane to where we started.
Good lights are necessary for this ride. Helmets, gloves and warm clothes are essential and you might wish to bring a drink and snack . Wear bright coloured clothing.
Aftre the ride some of us will be going to the Penrhyn Arms for a Pizza!
