We start in the park and follow the shared cycle and foot path along to the Priory's, where deer may be relaxing on the green. From there we'll double back towards the park, then divert left into the woods. Here we'll be challenged with an uphill ride to the fishing lake. If we are lucky, we may see the terrapins chilling on the log in the lake. We'll follow the path onwards through The Manor and as we look to tye right, there's a good chance we'll see deer. There's another uphill bit to the edge of the park. From there, we will turn around and head back to our start point.

Keep your eyes peeled and there's every chance you'll see some wild deer as we ride

Cycle paths and some lightly gravelled/sandy paths. Mountain bikes or hybrid recommended, but ok for road bikes if you are confident with handling.

There are no rest facilities as such, though there may be a coffee van in the park. We will stop along the way as necessary to catch our breath.

Helmets and cycle gloves (or thin, grippy gloves) are recommended. We may be able to get a coffee, so bring cash if you like. Bring your phone/camera to capture the deer, if we see them.

We never leave anyone behind
