DEKA shop, 5 Westway, Frome

Join me for a leisurely, 11 mile, Breeze bike ride around Frome & the surrounding villages, with refreshments afterwards in the DEKA pop-up shop (5 Westway, Frome), as part of the Tour de France celebrations. This is one of 2 identical rides on this date: 10am or 7pm. DEKA is a run + ride + coffee pop-up shop, open for the duration of the Tour (5 - 27 July). They will be stocking the finest in British running and cycling wear, fantastic coffee, homemade cakes and more. This 11 mile ride starts outside DEKA & uses quiet country lanes, roads & cycle paths out to Nunney, Trudoxhill, Tytherington, Blatchbridge & then returning to Frome. The route is undulating with a couple of hills. We will ride at a sociable pace, sticking together as a group (the maximum number of riders is 8 plus a Breeze Champion). The average pace is usually 8 -10 mph No-one will be left behind & the route is suitable for all types of bikes with gears. Please make sure that your bike is in a rideable condition & that you have pumped up your tyres. A helmet is advisable but not compulsory. Please remember to bring a puncture repair kit & pump with you, a drink & a snack & suitable clothing for the weather conditions (a rear light would be useful for the evening ride) Don't forget some money for refreshments afterwards or a little retail therapy at DEKA - all attendees will receive 10% discount off their purchases. Book your place online through breezebikerides.com. Any questions about the ride or booking your place then please call Fleur on 07815 629841 (or visit the Facebook page Breeze Network East Somerset)
