Starting from - The starting point will be in the Alvaston Park Car Park adjacent to The Waterside Café (what3words ///shiny.clubs.rigid) Entry to Alvaston Park by car is from London Road A6 onto Meadow Lane. There is free parking and toilet facilities. Please check the location of the start prior to setting off, as the postcode can take you to another location. NB: There is a height restriction at the entrance of the park 2.2 metres. DE24 8PX

The route follows some of the Cycle paths in and around Derby, taking you through some of Derby's parks and green spaces.

Following some of the cycle pathways which Derby offers in a circuit of the North of Derby City.

We shall be riding on mostly tarmac surfaces.

There is a plan to stop at either The Cottonworks, or The Shed, West Mill, or Darley Abbey Park Tea Rooms (cash only) - the choice depends on available seating and weather conditions.

A helmet is required. A spare innertube/puncture kit. Suitable clothing for changeable weather conditions during the ride, and a mobile phone. Cash if needed for the cafe. Please ensure your bicycle is in good mechanical condition prior to arriving at the start. Thank you.
