Explore the highlights and hideaways of north Manchester's expansive Heaton Park using traffic-free paths. You can enjoy the beautiful parkland, with its formal gardens, wildlife and architecture. Enjoy pre or post ride refreshments at one the park's four cafes. At under three miles the route is mostly flat, making it perfect for young riders and newcomers to cycling.
Please ensure your bikes are in good fully working order and you have a suitable spare inner tube, pump and tools with you. The wearing of a helmet is mandatory for under 18's and strongly recommended for all riders
