Starting point

Neath Port Talbot
SA1 8EN

There is a great, traffic-free route between Swansea University's two campuses, following the sweep of Swansea Bay. Much of the route is obvious, although it can get a bit confusing near the Marina and along Fabian Way, so why not join some of the Uni's British Cycling trained ride leaders who ride the path every day, to discover a cheap, healthy and (above all) fun way of travelling between the campuses.

Meeting at the Santander Bikes stand outside the School of Management, we leave the campus by the cycle path to Baldwin's Bridge and Fabian Way. The route then heads behind the park and ride before heading around Prince's Dock and crossing the river Tawe at Trafalgar Bridge. The ride then follows the beachfront path all the way to Singleton.

The whole route is traffic free (although there are a few road crossings), surfaced and almost flat, so suitable for all types of bike.

All you need is a roadworthy bike (check tyres and brakes before setting off) and a helmet.

Don't have your own bike? Because we will be starting and finishing at a Santander Bikes station, there is always the option to hire a bike for the trip, turn up 15 minutes early and we can help show you how.
