Meet at the bike racks at Balgreen tram stop.
If you are unable to ride to the start, you have the option of taking the tram to the meeting point, or park in the residential streets off Balgreen Road.
We'll go through Roseburn Park and on to the Meadows and Holyrood Park, arriving in Dr Neil's Garden within an hour. We'll spend an hour there before heading back through the Innocent Tunnel and taking the path on the south side of the Meadows and back to our starring point.
Helmets recommended
2 spare inner tubes plus appropriate tools
Cash/payment card
Plan B for getting home should you have to leave the ride
We'll spend time in the garden to wander. Bring your own refreshments or cash/card to visit the cafe. Plenty of outdoor seating
A sunny ride to a little bit of tranquility
Shared paths and quiet roads
