DRIFFIELD FOUR SEASONS BREEZERS - WOLD ROAD

This ride will head out of Driffield towards Nafferton, where we will cycle up Wold Road and along to the village of Kilham with its wealth of 18th century houses. Through Kilham we will travel over to Ruston Parva and view spectacular scenery from the wolds across East Yorkshire. After crossing the Driffield/Bridlington road we travel down to the village of Harpham and along the low road to Lowthorpe. From there we will cross the gated railway line and encounter the quiet lanes before entering Wansford. Over the canal in Wansford it's only a couple of miles to Skerne, where we will soon spot Bradshaws Mill on the horizon and wind our way back to Driffield.

As with all our rides, we advise you wear and helmet and check the forecast to wear suitable clothes for the day. Please make sure you have a snack, as this will be a testing ride and you may very well require extra sustinance for the journey. Two water bottles would be advisable and make sure you have tools to hand, should you be unfortunate to have a mechanical problem. We recommend levers, at least two spare inner tubes, puncture repair kit, multi-tools, gloves. Please also remember to always carry a pump,

If the ride has to be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions we will endeavour to contact all registered participants. There will always be a Breeze Champion at the start venue for anyone who may turn up.
