LL54 6LY

We start at Penygroes and ride through the Nantlle valley up Drws y Coed. Drws y Coed is one of the most well known hill climbs in North Wales with an average gradient of 7% over 1.5km. Once we are at the top, we will give our legs a rest as we descend to our turnaround point, Rhyd Ddu. We will then return by the same route, with a shorter climb this time and an even longer descent, and finish back in Penygroes.
This ride is classed as 'challenging' because of the hill climb but we will take it slowly, an average pace of 10mph. We will ride up the hill at our own pace and we will regroup at the top.
We will not ride if there are strong winds or if it is pouring with rain.
There is no cafe stop on this ride so please bring a drink and snack with you.
Helmets are compulsory on this ride.
Please bring suitable clothing, a spare inner tube and repair kit and make sure your bike is in good working order before arriving at the start point.

We never leave anyone behind
