Easter Post box toppers tour

The route will be approx 8 - 10 miles, at an easy pace which will be ideal for those who are new to venturing out on the roads or who have not ridden for a while.

Please note you cannot park in the car parks at the Leisure centre and some of the roads in the area are residents only. There is parking around Blackbirds moor, or on Beechfield Road and there is a pay and display car park in Park Road next to the Leisure centre.

We are excited to be back with Breeze rides! We will be touring round Hemel Hempstead on a route that takes us past post boxes with the amazing knitted toppers that have been made by the town's Yarn bombers. If riders would like to make a donation to the group then we will be happy to collect and pass on.

We will be riding along mostly quiet roads around various parts of town, but there are also some busier roads. We will have a Breeze champ leading and another at the back to keep everyone safe.

We will make stops at some of the post boxes so that photos can be taken of the amazing works of knitting art.

Riders will need to wear a helmet and have a spare inner tube in case of puncture. If anyone has any symptoms of Covid in the days before the ride then please do not attend, but cancel your place in case others wish to join us.
