Easter Saturday ride from Pegwell Bay Country Park to Gibsons

This ride will be on some familiar roads, but riding in the opposite direction at times! Starting at Pegwell Bay Country Park - parking available (fees apply) and toilets available, we will ride towards Minster and Monkton. Continuing through Plucks Gutter and Preston onward towards Wingham and Gibson's Farm Shop for refreshments. After leaving Gibson's for Chillenden and a great photo opportunity at the Windmill. From here we head out to Eastry and Sandwich and soon after here we will arrive back at our destination. There is the opportunity to have further coffee and sausage sandwiches if you wish at Pegwell Bay Country Park cafe with great views of the channel. If it's a clear day you might even see France!

You must be confident riding in traffic. You must listen to the instructions given by the ride leaders.

Easter Bonnet Ride. Let's hope for some sunshine on Easter Saturday as we cycle through the beautiful East Kent countryside.

We will be riding on a mixture of country lanes and some busier roads including some small town centre cycling.

Our planned stop will be Gibsons Farm Shop for a quick coffee.

Helmets are compulsory on this ride. Please carry with you a spare inner tube for your bike, the tools required to change the inner tube, fluids, essential medication you rely upon, cash/card for the car park and refreshments, dress for the weather.
