Eastern Prom Sunset Ride

A gentle social ride from Boscombe Pier to the eastern end of the Promenade. This ride is traffic free and is low speed, so no one gets left behind! There are lovely views of Poole Bay during the ride. We stop for 10-15 minutes at the end of the Prom to enjoy the view and then return to Boscombe Pier where you can watch the sunset... Remember your lights :)

Covid: Due to the pandemic the number of riders is restricted and you must book in advance via the website. In accordance with regulations riders are expected to ride 1 metre apart and stay 2 metres apart when not cycling.

Safety: This is not a particularly hazardous ride, but you do ride at your own risk and are responsible for your own actions. Pedestrians have priority on traffic free sections and there is a maximum speed in these areas of 10 mph. Pay particular attention to dogs and small children. There may be some sand on the path on sections of the route.

Weather: this ride will not take place if there are strong winds (>20 mph on the BBC website Bournemouth forecast 2 hours before the ride) and/or heavy rain.
