Welcome to Easy B2B's (Back 2 Basics) Between Christmas and New year ride for 2021 :)
Now the big fella in the Red Coat has been and gone, after all that feasting & the New Year fast approaching it may be time for some gentle exercising!

This beginner's ride is for mixed adults 16+ who are interested in doing more leisure cycling & is led by an experienced British Cycling trained coach.
So if you have any questions or concerns about attending, need any advice or just some help starting or getting back into that saddle for this ride just message the Leader on the riders' tab below.
All new E-Bike riders are especially welcomed.

We will be travelling along the almost traffic free, fully tarmacked cycle way starting out from the Workington Asda Superstore we will head over Navvis suspension bridge, then travelling under the new underpass at Workington town centre with a very short section of road past Workington Argos, we re-join the cycle way at Christ Church central were we will ride traffic free again all the way on towards High Harrington & finally onto Distington.

Here is where we will stop at Starbucks for our take away outdoor, socially distanced hot drinks & cake break, with the chance to use the facilities, before travelling back by the same traffic free route to end up back at the Asda superstore car park.

As always all B2B riders travel at the slowest rider's speed with support and encouragement, so no one is ever left behind.

Please bring with you a road worthy bike, your helmet, clothes you are comfortable cycling in, easy to add or remove layers work the best, a waterproof jacket, as you never know. A drink for along the way if needed, a mask & contactless card or some money for our café stop.
A hand pump and inner tube that fits your bike is always a good idea.

Please do not attend if you have any Covid symptoms, have someone in your household who does or if you have tested positive on a recent Covid test. Cancelling your place isn't a problem, just let us know before the ride so that we are not waiting for you unnecessarily especially when its cold or raining.
