Free, women-only bike rides led by experienced Breeze Champions. They are a great way to get started in cycling or to improve your skills, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist.

A short ride of 6 - 7 miles, suitable for beginners, from Wellington Health & Fitness Centre, to Buckler's Forest in Crowthorne. We will use quiet roads and cycle paths to get there and then can have fun cycling on the off-road tracks, finding old road signs in the woods and part of the old TRL track. This will be a small group ride, observing Covid restrictions. Please do not attend if you or anyone in your household has Covid symptoms or has been told to self-isolate and remember to socially distance at the start of the ride or during any stops. You should please wear a cycle helmet, bring a drink of water and a spare inner tube suitable for your bike (also a pump if you have one.) Please check your bike is safe before coming - especially air in your tyres, both brakes working and the chain lubed.

Some of the off-road tracks may not be suitable for road bikes with very skinny tyres but hybrids, mountain bikes or any other type of bike should be fine.

I have not scheduled a tea break during the ride, as it is a short one. However we could get a takeaway tea /coffee at the end of the ride from one of the cafes near Crowthorne Station. Please bring some money or contactless card for payment if you would like to do this.
