Leaving the Hub riders will join the canal network, leaving at Spaghetti Junction. Then using local roads the group will use the Blue Route into the City Centre. Crossing the city centre the ride will use NCN 5 to Cannon Hill.

The return journey will be the same tour, in reverse.

The route takes you from north Birmingham to the Cannon Hill Park, through the city centre.

Most of the route is cycleway, residential roads with a short length of canal towpath thrown in for good measure.

There will be time to stop, chat and generally enjoy the surroundings.

Helmets are advisable but not obligatory. Riders should dress appropriately for the weather and not forget the sun cream - if the sun decides to pop out. Riders should carry water, cash / card and lock. Bikes should be roadworthy. If your bike is off the road, or you have not got a bike, TAWS (The Active Wellbeing Society), has provided bikes that can be borrowed for the session. Just bring something with your name and address for ID.

We especially welcome newbies!
