Most of the route is level, with some inclines up to the locks along the tow path.

The route takes you to the Valley using mainly traffic-free routes.

The route starts at the Witton Lakes and travels along the Tame Valley canal towpath to Sandwell.

There will be time to take photographs along the route and at the destination.

Riders are advised to wear a helmet and bring with them a snack and drink. Bikes will be available for loan upon production of proof of name and address, or TAWS wellbeing card.
