Edinburgh Festival of Cycling: Corstorphine to the Water of Leith Visitor Centre

This is a lovely scenic route from St Margaret's Park in Corstorphine to the Water of Leith Visitor Centre in Slateford. The route is largely on traffic free paths, with a few quiet roads. A good stretch of the route is on the beautiful Water of Leith path. We will also ride through Saughton Park and be able to see how the refurbishment work is coming on there.

Much of out route is traffic free. This route is suitable for all bikes, although some sections may be slightly muddy and with loose materials. Road bikes will get through, but may get muddy!

We will stop when we get to the Water of Leith Visitor Centre for a quick cuppa, then return to Corstorphine along the same route.
