LD6 5HP

Starting in the Elan Village we will climb - on tarmac lanes and tracks - before going off-road over Clyn hill where we ride over open hillside and through a few streams before entering forest area; then open farmland and a long farm track descent to Dolymynach dam. From here we head to see the magnificent Claerwen dam before climbing again to the head of Nant Gwyllt, with a steep decsent to Nant Gwllt church and returning to the Visitors Centre on the Elan Valley trail.
Some experience of mountain biking and a good level of fitness is desirable for this ride, but we will go at an easy pace to take in the scenery in the beautiful Elan Valley countryside!
View and snack stops as required, and return to the visitors centre for refreshments
Weather can be unpredictable in the Cambrian mountains, so bring waterproofs just in case. The usual spare inner tubes, snacks and water. Helmets essential and make sure you have a spare inner tube.
