We start from Eling car park, Eling Hill, Eling, SO40 9GH from there we cycle past St Mary the Virgin Church as we head towards Pooks Green, passing Marchwood Gospel Church and onto quiet country roads to Beaulieu, crossing Beaulieu River and a short climb up Beaulieu Hill to Hilltop were we join Exbury Road passing Exbury Gardens and Steam Railway on our way to Inchmery Lane, and Lepe Lane to our coffee stop at Lepe Country Park, so bring some money along for coffee and a cake etc. (entrance to Lepe Country Park is not included in the ride). After coffee we head along the quiet roads and cycling paths to Dibden Purlieu and along Roman Road and picking up the cycle path that runs alongside Marchwood road and back to our starting point at Eling Car park. A distance of approx 30 miles. Car parking at Eling is free and there are toilets at the start and finish. You will be guided by experienced Leaders throughout. The route is mainly flat and suitable for all ages. Please bring clothing appropriate for the weather, a drink and snack and a spare inner tube to fit your bike. A cycle helmet is advisable.
