Essex and Herts - Pre Ride the Night Challenge

A 40 mile route out into the Essex lanes towards Hertfordshire with a café stop halfway in Sawbridgeworth. The ride is mainly flat with some undulations but nothing too challenging in the way of hills. This ride is a week before the Women vs Cancer Ride the night, and although not as far as the full distance it may be good for some ladies who want to get their miles up on fairly quiet roads before the big night. You don't however have to be taking part in Ride the Night to come along. The ride is open to everyone who fancies a longer time out than perhaps they usually attempt. A road bike is preferred over this distance, although hybrids with road tyres will also be fine.
