Join us for a 12.5 mile evening ride from Penrith. We will be riding on quiet roads to the south of Penrith and will pass through the pretty village of Great Strickland before returning to Penrith . We will have stunning views of the Pennines. This ride is suitable for all abilities and bikes as we will be riding on good tarmac roads.
This ride will follow all current social distancing requirements and numbers on the ride are limited. I would ask that if you are showing any symptoms of Covid 19 or if you have been in contact with anyone who has symptoms of Covid 19 you do no come on the ride.
We will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. The aim of the ride is to have a fun sociable ride in the company of other women, build up confidence in our riding in a supportive group environment, as well ask questions about bikes and riding, and make links with others.
Remember to wear clothes that are comfortable to cycle in and suitable for the weather conditions. It is a good idea to bring a spare inner tube, a waterproof jacket, a snack and a bottle of water. We always recommend that you wear a cycle helmet.
