The canal bridge at 14 locks is shut, making access difficult, so we will meet at the canal entrance on Ruskin Avenue. On street parking at Squires gate or Ruskin Avenue itself.
Ruskin Avenue is the next road down along the canal from 14 locks in the Cwmcarn direction. NP10 0AA

We will ride along the canal from the canal entrance at Ruskin Avenue, Rogerstone. This is an easy 12 mile ride along the canal to near the entrance of Cwmcarn Scenic drive. The Philanthropic Inn is just down from there along a quiet road.
We will stop for a quick drink at the Inn before cycling back.
Please bring a lock for your bike in case we need to sit inside.
Please bring a drink and a snack, wear a helmet and bring a spare inner tube for your bike and tools to change it.
